The Frankfurt taxi tariff combines a base fare (around €4), a per-kilometre rate (around €2.40–€2.70), and waiting time (the meter keeps running in traffic). That produces typical fares from the airport:
- Frankfurt city centre / Messe: €35–€55 depending on traffic
- Frankfurt Westend / banking district: €40–€60
- Wiesbaden or Mainz: €60–€90
